A reference photo does not identify the construction
The visible colour and shape are only the finish. A similar result may involve different underlying products. Ask the technician what they propose for your starting nails and desired result, and keep that recommendation separate from the colour or art you want.
Removal, a fill and a new set are different requests
If you already have extensions, say whether you want to keep their length and change the finish or start again. The salon may need to inspect the existing product before confirming what it can do. Share previous service details if you have them; do not invent a product name when unsure.
Agree on a practical length

Make the quote itemised
Ask which service line applies, whether the stated length changes the price, how colour is included and how art is charged. A structural service and decorative service may be separate. Do not assume a package covers every visible detail of a photo.
Save the service record
Before leaving, ask what product or service was applied and how the provider recommends maintaining or removing it. Ask about the salon’s own repair conditions and how to contact them. Policies vary; a guarantee from one provider should not be treated as a citywide standard.

Can another salon fill my existing extensions?

Are builder gel and acrylic interchangeable menu items?
